Once upon a time the beats of hammer upon the blazing iron were resonating widely among slovenian villages. Inner-Carniolas’ blacksmiths have had particularly hands full of work with shoeing of horses and making of iron axis and rims for ware-carts of numerous furman-s (transporters). They would be also making unique iron nails for the indigenious boat of Cerknica lake – the drevak.

In our blacksmith workshop at Heritage House we continue with iron nails making as well as we produce unique arts and crafts products out of the recycled iron. e development of handcrafts skills and art designing .
