Slivnici a home of witches
Slivnica is a 1114 m high mountain and according to the legend a home of witches. People used to belie that whenever there was a fog covering the mountain witches were implementing their magic. This legend became one of the main inspirations for the carnival masks which are unique in Cerknica. Young Guardian of Heritage will take you to the top of the mountain where the witches cave lies.
Wild food picknic
The Inner Carniola Regional Park park contains many different habitats: dry and wet meadows, transitional mires, wetlands, vast forests, and numerous caves. This results in a great diversity of plant species, many of which are edible. Picking wild plants and experiencing the wild taste in nature, will be hosted by a young biologist.
